TBLA Bowling Night - 9/23

Organizing a TBLA Bowling Night for the night of Friday, September 23rd at 8pm. Please RSVP in this thread so I can get a rough idea of who might come so I can reserve lanes as necessary.

We can rent a couple lanes for $35 per hour each, otherwise Corbin charges $6 per game and $4 for shoes.
On their website is a 50% off coupon you can print out and bring with you.

I was thinking 10/1 as well, but was afraid it was too far in advance and the interest would be lost.

Either is fine with me.

You should check with the lanes, Friday Night Bowling is big time League Night, they may not have many lanes available for public folk.

I could probably swing either 9/23 or 10/1

But Phil has the key point – check with the alley immediately. Their bread and butter is leagues, and there are leagues most every night. Although even with leagues, there might be a couple open lanes at one end or the other.

I think I’ve knocked back a couple beers at the Corbin, but never bowled there.

I won $1500 in a tournament there in the 80’s. The Harry Grant tournament. I won my division. (Crappy Bowlers Division), and was in line for finishing 5th overall, till some guy with a 220 average beat me out it.
