What TV Channel Is Your Favorite MLB Team?

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim – Syfy – You can rebrand all you want, we know who you are
Oakland Athletics – FX – turned low budget affairs into mild success
Texas Rangers – USA Network - "The best shows on tv no one knows about" (IVDown)
Seattle Mariners – MTV – Used to be big deal, now unwatchable unless to make fun of.
Chicago White Sox – Animal Planet - Nothing on Food Network? Wanna watch kittens?
Cleveland Indians – AMC – their hits are mild, but the movies are fun to watch over and over.
Kansas City Royals – G4 – A bunch of kids playing video games, maybe it’ll come to something
Minnesota Twins – Outdoor channel - They're outside now, but does that make them good?
Detroit Tigers - CNN - where you go to find out how bad the economy is
Boston Red Sox – ABC – Solid and well run, but will go experimental. Haven’t produced a hit lately though.
New York Yankees – CBS – Everything they do is #1, but no one really likes them.
Toronto Blue Jays - National Geographic - Learn about strange customs in foreign lands
Baltimore Orioles - Fox News - Like C-Span, but some old white guy will yell at you
Tampa Bay Rays – CW – they’re probably doing some interesting things, but nobody is watching
Chicago Cubs - Food Network - Always fun to watch, especially at Wrigley, but always second best (E. Stephen)
St. Louis Cardinals – Comedy Central - There are reasons to watch, but if you watch too much of it, it starts seeming like the same shit over and over. (H. Kavula)
Milwaukee Brewers – Discovery Channel - It’s cool to say that you like them, but they’re actually kind of shallow. (H. Kavula)
Pittsburgh Pirates – History Channel – remember that time when that thing happened?
Houston Astros – Lifetime - Television for idiots
Cincinnati Reds – Science Channel - Yeah science! Science is cool, and such importance to....what else is on?
San Diego Padres – Nickelodeon – Nick is kids!
Arizona Diamondbacks – The Weather Channel - At least it's a dry heat. A good barometer to judge the state of NL West.
Los Angeles Dodgers – NBC – Once great, now struggling to find fan base again. And a hit.
San Francisco Giants – TV Land – All the vets, and they have that one hit
Colorado Rockies – ABC Family – guilty pleasure, but still shows 700 club
Atlanta Braves – TBS – Duh
Washington Nationals – C-Span
New York Mets – TNT – Another cop drama? Just tell me when the Knicks are on.
Philadelphia Phillies - Fox – No real history before 1990, but recent big hits have made it a major player.
Miami Marlins - Spike - What exactly is television for men beside flashy things? Fuck you, that's what.

I maintained that Toronto equated to Cinemax

In fact I STRENUOUSLY objected, but to no avail.

The Giants are the mid-20’s local programming network that shows school board meetings. Full of old people who take themselves far too seriously.

The Pirates are like the Playboy channel. Everyone knows it used to be good, but it’s outdated and no one watches anymore.

The Tigers are Starz. They’re never going to be HBO or Showtime, but they’ll intermittently spend the big money to pretend to be on their par.

If the Cubs are Food Network, the White Sox are the Cooking Channel. They appeal to roughly the same people, just not as many.

Orioles could be VH1. An unholy mixture of washed-up celebrities and absolute trash.
