Today is a day where politics are happening, and I would like to have a thread to discuss the exercise of our civic rights peacefully.

My only rule is that we do not attack any person. I would like us to debate the facts, and only the facts. Please be mindful when you use hyperbole, neither Obama nor Romney will destroy the country forever. We've been doing this election thing for over 200 years without a president successfully destroying the country forever.

There are also a number of propositions and local measures to discuss. As new information comes in I will continue to update this post through the night as a public service and because this is something I care about.
