A few pictures during the renovations at Dodger Stadium. All but eight field level sections are temporarily out during the offseason work.
Walking into the stadium club for the Hyun-jin Ryu press conference on Monday, I didn't know what to expect. I knew Dodger Stadium was undergoing renovations, but it is a little jarring to see all the dirt where seats used to be on the field level.
The Dodgers are completely remodeling both clubhouses, among other things, and needed the seats out to dig and build underneath and behind. On the field level, all but eight sections of seats are out during the renovation (there are seats from the left of the visitors dugout to just behind home plate), and while the premium seats behind home plate remain, they are all covered for the time being.
The scoreboards in the wall in both left field and right field are gone, soon to be replaced, as well.
I took a few pictures, and threw in a few more from the Ryu press conference. I hope to take a few more on Tuesday after the Zack Greinke press conference.
