Ryu will be at Wilshire Work Place, the Radio Korea Building, from noon to 1 p.m. PT.

Newly signed Dodgers starting pitcher Hyun-jin Ryu will branch out into Los Angeles on Tuesday. Ryu will visit Koreatown in his first official visit as a Dodger.

Ryu is the 14th Korean player in the majors, a legacy which began with Chan Ho Park and the Dodgers in 1994. Ryu on Monday said he hopes to surpass the 124 victories Park had in his major league career, the most ever by an Asian-born pitcher. Ryu will be the fourth Korean Dodger, joining Park, Hee Seop Choi and Jae Seo.

"It's an historic day. It's more than a typical signing for this organization, for this city, and for Major League Baseball," said general manager Ned Colletti, who said Ryu would add to the Dodgers tradition which included Jackie Robinson, Fernando Valenzuela, Hideo Nomo, and Park.

On Tuesday, Ryu will be at Wilshire Work Place, the Radio Korea Building, from noon to 1 p.m. PT. The building is located at 3700 Wilshire Blvd, between Oxford and Serrano Avenue, just east of Western Avenue.
