So I'm thinking about doing a fantasy league with 5 friends, where we are each assigned a division...meaning we can only draft players from one division. I'm doubtful that it would be even though. How do you think these two compare?
NL West
1B: James Loney (yes, seriously)
2B: Aaron Hill
SS: Troy Tulowitzki
3B: Pablo Sandoval
C: Buster Posey
LF: Carlos Gonzalez
CF: Matt Kemp
RF: Justin Upton
SP: Clayton Kershaw
SP: Matt Cain
SP: Tim Lincecum
SP: Ian Kennedy
AL East
1B: Adrian Gonzalez
2B: Robinson Cano
SS: Derek Jeter
3B: Evan Longoria
C: Matt Weiters
LF: Carl Crawford
RF: Jose Bautista
SP: CC Sabbathia
SP: David Price
SP: Josh Beckett
SP: Brandon Morrow
Obviously the team's will go deeper than this, but first look says the AL wins based off of HR & RBI alone, but pitching could even things up. Other thoughts is the depth of the AL East. You can trade out A-Gonz & Cano for Tex & Pedroria and not really lose anything.
