Blue

The only way to describe the prior ownership was tragic,

But today we can have renewed hope and believe in some Magic.

We’ve been blue to be sure with emotions and how we feel,

But today that is gone, the True Blue feeling is back and for real.

“So just what is next?” is what so many people are asking,

Why bring us down now while in Magic’s glory we should be basking.

Look to the future and forget about the "prior owner's" past,

Think about the next Kershaw K or the next Kemp blast.

Close your eyes, bring Vin’s voice to your mind,

Picture a full Dodger stadium and October baseball you may find.

Use your thoughts for good, your comments shall be wise,

And don’t worry about Todd Coffey’s size.

Fill the stadium or turn on your T.V. or follow our favorite blog,

Lift your head to the Sunny So. Cal. sky and get out of the past fog.

Today is a new day about 2 Billion times better than yesterday,

The Dodgers will be on top again someday soon and that is what we pray.

Many may still ask how The True Blue team will rise again?

With a new voice, a new face, respected leadership and a little magic mixed in.

True Blue, a statement of conviction and a commitment to our team,

Hope springs eternal and now from the past we are free.
