Scott Van Slyke had a memorable major league debut Wednesday night, with an RBI single in his first major league plate appearance. It was the first pinch-hit RBI by a Dodger in his first major league at-bat since Carl Warwick back on April 11, 1961, the year before Dodger Stadium opened.
