Don Mattingly, anxious to get back on the field (not really; he almost always wears that glove during his pregame meeting with the media)

The Dodgers won on Sunday , but so did everyone else in the wild card race, except for the Phillies. Sunday knocked another day off the calendar for the Cardinals, who maintained their three-game lead for the second wild card spot.

Here is a recap of the relevant Sunday's game action:

National League Wild Card Standings
Team W-L Pct GB
Atlanta 88-65 .575 +6
St. Louis 82-71 .536 ---
Milwaukee 79-73 .520
Los Angeles 79-74 .516 3
Arizona 77-75 .507
Philadelphia 77-76 .503 5
Dodgers Magic Number: 13
Dodgers Tragic Number: 7

Dodgers 5, Reds 3: It may have been too little, too late, but Adrian Gonzalez came alive on Sunday night with a pair of home runs against Homer Bailey, helping the Dodgers to a win on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball.

Cardinals 6, Cubs 3: Allen Craig had three hits, including a double, and Pete Kozma hit his first major league home run for St. Louis. They backed Kyle Lohse, who went six innings for his 16th win of the season.

Brewers 6, Nationals 2: Milwaukee rallied for three runs in the seventh inning to break a 2-2 tie, rebounding from Saturday's loss.

Braves 2, Phillies 1: Cliff Lee allowed one earned run and one unearned run in eight innings, with 11 strikeouts and no walks, so naturally he lost for Philadelphia. Tim Hudson allowed just one unearned run in his 7 1/3 innings for his 16th win as the Braves inched closer to clinching a playoff spot.

Diamondbacks 10, Rockies 7: Down a run entering the eighth inning, Aaron Hill hit a three-run home run in a four-run frame, giving Arizona a third straight win.

Here is Monday's schedule:
