Clayton Kershaw has reason to be frustrated.
Already without their best player in Matt Kemp for the series finale against the Giants, the Dodgers will also be without their best pitcher Sunday night as Clayton Kershaw was scratched from his scheduled start.
The pitcher is battling a hip issue, and received a cortisone shot on Saturday, per Ken Gurnick of MLB.com, who also reported that Kershaw expects to start Tuesday against Arizona. We'll see.
Joe Blanton, who was going to start on Tuesday in Phoenix against the Diamondbacks, get the start on Sunday, on what will be a normal four days rest.
