The sixth annual event, which helps Dodgers minor leaguers acclimate to major league life on and off the field, will be moved to Camelback Ranch for one year while Dodger Stadium remains occupied by cranes and construction machinery.

The Dodgers are temporarily moving their winter development camp to Arizona this season, given all the construction going on at Dodger Stadium. The sixth annual event, which has been held in Los Angeles for the first five years, will take place next week at the club's spring training facility at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona, per Ken Gurnick of MLB.com, who also provided the list of 13 attendees.

Pitchers Steven Ames, Onelki Garcia, Zach Lee, Matt Magill, Rob Rasmussen, Chris Reed, Paco Rodriguez and Chris Withrow will be at the camp, along with catchers Tim Federowicz and Matt Wallach, and outfielders Jeremy Moore, Joc Pederson, and Yasiel Puig.

Six of the 13 — Ames, Federowicz, Magill, Puig, Rodriguez, and Withrow — are on the 40-man roster, and two (Garcia and Rodriguez) were drafted in 2012. Gurnick also noted that Moore, who will turn 26 on June 29, was signed to a minor league contract. There has been no word whether or not Moore will be invited to major league camp in spring training.

The annual event includes workouts with and instruction from the major league coaching staff, and several meetings and seminars to acclimate themselves to the major leagues. Wallach and Withrow might be qualified to teach a few seminars, as this is the fourth winter development program for both.

Ames, who was added to the 40-man roster in November, is next in seniority as this is his third development camp, while Federowicz will take part in his second program.

The winter development program is the next event to shift from Dodger Stadium this offseason as a reported $100 million in renovations are being made to the 51-year old venue. The Dodgertown Classic, featuring USC and UCLA baseball, will be played at UCLA this year, and the regular offseason motocross and monster truck events won't be making stops at Chavez Ravine this year.
