LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers still trail the National League Championship Series and still have to win two road games in St. Louis to advance, but that hasn't stopped them from planning ahead. The Dodgers will begin to sell World Series tickets to the public at 10 a.m. PT on Saturday, in between Games 6 and 7 of the NLCS against the Cardinals.
From 9:45 a.m. to 9:59 on Saturday morning, Twitter followers of the Dodgers will receive a special password for even earlier access. Tickets range from between $156 and $356 per seat.
Fans will be limited to four tickets per game per purchase. This will be an online sale only; the Dodger Stadium box office will not be open on Saturday.
The World Series begins on Wednesday, Oct. 23, but the first two and last two games will be held in the American League park, either in Detroit or Boston. Should the Dodgers beat the Cardinals on Friday and Saturday, they would host the middle three games of the World Series at Dodger Stadium: Saturday, Oct. 26, Sunday, Oct. 27 and if necessary, Monday, Oct. 28.
