The right-hander has a club option for 2015 that becomes a player option if he pitches 180 innings in 2014. He could make as much as $26 million over two years.

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers on Monday finalized their one-year, $10 million contract with Dan Haren, plus a reported option for 2015.

Per Jon Heyman of CBS Sports, Haren's option for 2015 is worth $10 million. With 180 innings pitched in 2014, a figure Haren hasn't reached since 2011, his 2015 option becomes a player option. It isn't yet known whether Haren's option includes a buyout.

Heyman also reported Haren has performance bonuses starting at 24 games started and 150 innings pitched for both 2014 and 2015 that could total $3 million each year.

“Dan brings experience as a winner to our club and rotation,” general manager Ned Colletti said in a release. “He has made 30 or more starts for nine straight seasons and has won 10 or more games for nine straight as well. Last year, his second half was among the best in the National League.”

Haren, 33, was 10-14 with a 4.67 ERA in 31 games for the Nationals in 2013, including 30 starts. After a stint on the disabled list with right shoulder stiffness, Haren was 6-5 with a 3.29 ERA in 16 appearances, including 15 starts, with 84 strikeouts in 87⅔ innings.

Haren attended high school at Bishop Amat in La Puente and played his college ball at Pepperdine.

The Dodgers have $186.1 million committed to 13 players in 2014. They have 35 players on the 40-man roster.
