Chris Capuano starts for the Dodgers, with Chris Rusin on the mound for the Cubs.
The Dodgers return from their off day Wednesday to battle the Cubs on Thursday at Camelback Ranch, the first of 14 consecutive days of Cactus League contests to finish out the Arizona portion of their schedule.
Thursday's lineup for the Dodgers is close to what they will have on opening day, though without Hanley Ramirez, who is still alive with the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic. Alfredo Amezaga gets the start at shortstop on Thursday for the Dodgers. Jerry Hairston Jr. starts in left field, a position he figures to play often with Carl Crawford out.
Here are Thursday's starting lineups from Camelback Ranch:
Chris Capuano starts for the Dodgers, making his second appearance of the spring against Chicago. On Feb. 25, Capuano allowed four runs in two innings against the Cubs, including home runs to Darnell McDonald and Welington Castillo. Ronald Belisario is scheduled to pitch his first game since returning from the WBC. Also scheduled to pitch for the Dodgers are Kevin Gregg, Mark Lowe, and Matt Guerrier.
