The Dodgers on Monday welcome the Rockies to town, looking to improve their poor record against National League West clubs this season. The Dodgers have lost three of their four series against divisional foes and are 4-8 against the NL West so far in 2013.
The Rockies are tied for first place with Arizona in the division at 15-10, but have lost six of eight games since their 13-4 start. Here are the pitching matchups and television schedule for the three-game series at Dodger Stadium.
Monday, 7:10 p.m. (Prime Ticket)
Ted Lilly looks to build off his strong opening start in New York with start number two on Monday night. Since joining the Dodgers in 2010, Lilly is 7-1 with a 3.32 ERA against the Rockies in nine starts, including 4-0 with a 2.15 ERA in four starts in Los Angeles. Former Angels pitcher Tyler Chatwood makes his second start of the season, owner of a 5.48 ERA and 1.684 WHIP since joining Colorado.
Tuesday, 7:10 p.m. (KCAL)
Hyun-jin Ryu gets the call in the middle game of the series, and he is the only Dodgers starter to last six innings in every start this season. Jorge De La Rosa was a big reason the Rockies thought their 2009 success would continue going forward. After 33 starts in the last three seasons, De La Rosa is healthy again and is 2-2 with a 2.86 ERA after five starts.
