Matt Kemp can go start lifting, Julio Urias's debut produces more than strikeouts, Dodger injury updates and a tradition unlike another starts again today in Dodger Stadium

Hugh Bernreuter of MLive Media Group writes about Julio Urias' successful debut, Ashley Marshall quotes Urias in a special to MILB.com "the first couple batters I was feeling nervous, but as the game went on I was feeling more confident with my pitches and I was trying to throw strikes," and J.P. Hoornstra of the Daily News notes that Urias is the youngest player in Great Lakes Loon history. You can see a little video of Urias' debut here.

Ken Gurnick at MLB.com gives updates on Scott Van Slyke's neck, Hanley Ramirez may be closer to rehab assignment, Josh Beckett threw off a mound and Scott Elbert pitched back to back for the first time.

Mike Petrillo of Mike Scioscia's Tragic Illness says Dee Gordon needs more seasoning.
