Dodgers vs. Rockies TV schedule, starting pitchers

Doug Pensinger

The Dodgers have lost their last five series at Coors Field, dating back to 2011, all two games to one.

The Dodgers open up a three-game series at Coors Field on Tuesday night against the Rockies, looking to continue their climb within the National League West. Here is a look at the schedule and pitching matchups for the series in Denver.

Tuesday, 5:40 p.m. (KCAL)

Clayton Kershaw gets the start in the opener on Tuesday on five days rest, making his second start at Coors Field in 2013. Kershaw allowed three runs in seven innings on May 31, but his win went bye-bye when Todd Helton homered off Brandon League in the ninth inning to tie the game. Roy Oswalt makes his third start since joining the Rockies, and while his 16 strikeouts against just one walk have been a pleasant surprise the nine runs allowed in 11 innings have produced two losses. Tuesday marks Oswalt's home debut at Coors Field, where he is 4-0 with a 2.25 ERA in five career starts.

Wednesday, 5:10 p.m. (KCAL)

Zack Greinke has lasted seven innings in four of his last five starts, with three wins a 3.18 ERA during that span. Tyler Chatwood sports a 2.13 ERA in nine starts and has a Fifean run of nine straight starts with no more than two runs allowed. After allowing five runs in his first start of the season Chatwood has allowed eight total runs in his last eight starts combined, including six scoreless innings at Dodger Stadium on April 29.

Thursday, 5:10 p.m. (Prime Ticket, MLB Network)

Chris Capuano looks to rebound from his worst start of the season in the series finale. Capuano has allowed only three hits in 13 career at-bats to the red hot Michael Cuddyer, but all three were for extra bases (two doubles and a home run), plus five walks. Jhoulys Chacin allowed five runs in six innings to the Dodgers on June 1, but has allowed just four runs in his last four starts. Chacin has an active scoreless streak of 15 consecutive innings.
