Dodgers vs. Red Sox starting lineups: Andre Ethier sits, A.J. Ellis catches Chris Capuano

Victor Decolongon

The Dodgers are 7-2 at home in interleague play this season, with one game remaining on Sunday night against Boston.

The Dodgers host the Red Sox on Sunday night and will do so without Andre Ethier, who is 5-for-33 (.152) with 10 strikeouts against Boston starter Jake Peavy in his career. Though it should be noted that Ethier hasn't faced Peavy since 2009.

Skip Schumaker gets the start in center field in place of Ethier, batting sixth. Yasiel Puig is in right field, batting fifth for the first time in his young career.

In addition there is a change in battery. Chris Capuano starts for the Dodgers on the mound and, for the first time in 12 starts, will pitch to A.J. Ellis.

Since returning from the disabled list on June 19, Capuano had pitched to Federowicz in every start, and has pitched to Federowicz in 13 of his 19 starts this season. But Capuano frankly hasn't pitched well enough to warrant a personal catcher, so he throws to Ellis in Sunday's series finale.

Federowicz started once already in this series anyway, Friday night after A.J. Ellis caught both Wednesday's night game and Thursday's day game in Miami. With another day-night combination coming Tuesday and Wednesday against the Cubs, Federowicz figures to get another start in one of those games, likely Wednesday with Clayton Kershaw going Tuesday.
