AAA – The Isotopes used a couple of big innings and a huge performance from Joc Pederson to down the Chihuahuas (Padres) 11 to 6. Pederson continued his assault on the PCL with a perfect 4 for 4 day that included a pair of homers, a double, and 5 RBI's. On the mound Matt Magill won his first game of the season with 6 strong innings, striking out 8 and allowing just 1 earned run. Jose Dominguez was solid in his inning of work, and while Sam Demel got hit around for 3 runs, it didn't matter given Albuquerque's big league.

AA – The Lookout offense was the opposite of the Isotopes on Wednesday as they were shutout by the Suns (Marlins) 4 to 0. Ozzie Martinez singled in the first inning, and that was the only base knock Chattanooga would collect in the game as they were held hitless over the final 8 frames. Despite the loss starter Tyson Brummett threw pretty well as the allowed just 1 run and struck out 6 over 5 innings. Hector Nelo had some trouble in the middle innings, but Juan Noriega was great in the 8th and 9th as he punched out 3 without allowing a run.

HiA – The Storm (Padres) doubled up the Quakes on Tuesday in a 6 - 3 loss. Chris Jacobs drove in two with a double and Adam Law was perfect with two singles and two walks, but that was about it for the Rancho offense. Starter Lindsey Caughel took the loss after allowing 6 hits and 4 runs over 6 frames, but he did strike out 6. Freddie Cabrera also had a bunch of K's as he punched out 4 in two innings of work.

LoA Game 1 – The Loons busted out with a big offensive game and stomped the Snappers (A's) 11 to 4 in the first game of their double header. Great Lakes smacked 3 homers as Justin Chigbogu, Alex Santana, and Paul Hoenecke all crushed solo shots. Kyle Farmer also had a big game as he went 2 for 5 with a double and 4 RBI's, while Malcolm Holland walked 4 times and scored 3 runs. Starter Jonathan Martinez won his second game of the year with six strong innings, striking out 6 and allowing just 2 earned runs.

Despite just 6 hits, including just one that went for extra bases, the Great Lakes offense was able to generate their 8 runs thanks to 5 errors by the Beloit defense. Dillon Moyer had the big game as he went 2 for 4 with a double and 3 RBI's, while Delvis Morales was a perfect 2 for 2 with a couple of walks. On the bump Zachary Bird went the distance in the shortened contest, allowing just 3 hits in his 7 innings of work. Bird walked 3 and gave up 2 runs.
