Dodgers vs. Marlins starting pitching matchups

Miami is in Los Angeles for three games beginning Monday night.

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers have won just one of their six home series so far in 2014 (1-4-1), and are just 7-12 at Dodger Stadium. They welcome the worst road team in the majors, the Marlins (3-13) to town for three games beginning Monday night. Here is a look at the starting pitching matchups for the three games.

Monday, 7:10 p.m. PT (SportsNet LA)

Dan Haren has pitched four straight quality starts, though stretching the definition in two of the games. Haren has allowed seven unearned runs on the season, one more than the rest of the Dodgers starting staff combined. Tom Koehler built on his seven scoreless innings against the Dodgers on May 2 with eight more scoreless innings against the Mets last Wednesday.

Tuesday, 7:10 p.m. PT (SportsNet LA)

Since the beginning of 2013, Josh Beckett has a 4.12 ERA in 14 starts with 75 strikeouts in 78... innings, but is 0-6 during that span. Beckett's 14-start winless streak is tied for the third-longest by a Dodger since 1914, and the most since Fernando Valenzuela went 19 starts without a win from June 1988 to June 1989. Marlins starter Jacob Turner allowed six runs in four innings to the Dodgers on May 3, and has allowed six runs in 12 innings in his other two starts combined.

Wednesday, 7:10 p.m. PT (SportsNet LA)

Paul Maholm has struck out three or fewer batters in all six of his starts, the fourth-longest streak by a Dodger to start a season since the franchise moved to Los Angeles. The only longer streaks belong to Carlos Perez (16 straight, 1999), Jerry Reuss (13, 1986) and Carlos Monasterios (eight, 2010). The Dodgers got to Jose Fernandez for three runs on May 4, but then he allowed six runs to the Padres on Friday night in San Diego. That, amazingly, was the second time Fernandez allowed six runs in a start this season. Maybe he is human after all.
