The three-game weekend series in Miami ends facing an ace on Sunday morning.

The Dodgers road trip continues with a three-game weekend series against the Marlins. After three days in rainy, snowy and downright cold Minneapolis, Miami offers quite the contrast in climates for the team.

Here are the pitching matchups for the series, with the Dodgers facing three right-handers:

Friday, 4:10 p.m. PT

Josh Beckett followed up his two straight starts of five scoreless innings with eight strong innings against the Rockies last Friday, the longest outing by a Dodgers pitcher this season. All three Dodgers pitchers this weekend will be starting on six days rest. Tom Koehler allowed two runs in five innings to the Dodgers last May 12, but suffered the loss. He is 2-2 with a 2.97 ERA this season, and despite just four strikeouts and six walks in two home starts he has allowed just two runs in 13 innings at Marlins Park this year.

Saturday, 4:10 p.m.

Paul Maholm could be making his last start with the Dodgers for a while, with Clayton Kershaw ready to rejoin the rotation on Monday. Maholm went seven innings his last time out in a win over the Rockies. Jacob Turner allowed five runs in six innings in his only start this season, on April 3, but went on the disabled list shortly after with a right shoulder sprain. He'll be activated for Saturday's start.

Sunday, 10:10 a.m.

Jose Fernandez has a 1.59 ERA through six starts and a league-best 55 strikeouts to go with just eight walks. The 21-year-old's career ERA, through 34 starts, is a miniscule 2.08. But last I checked, that's not better than 0.00, which is Hyun-jin Ryu's mark after four starts and 26 road innings this season. Dating back to 2013, Ryu has 28 consecutive road scoreless innings and has allowed one run in his last 40 innings away from home.

UPDATE: Ryu was placed on the disabled list with shoulder inflammation, so he's out on Sunday. Among the pitchers on the 40-man roster, Stephen Fife is the most likely choice, having last thrown a scoreless inning on Wednesday. Fife threw six scoreless innings last Saturday as well.
