Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes teammates Miguel Olivo and Alex Guerrero got into an argument on May 20 in Salt Lake City, culminating in Olivo biting off part of Guerrero's ear. The Dodgers released Olivo two days later, and Guerrero could miss a month.
