LoA – The Loons also had a very quiet offense on Monday as they fell to the Lugnuts (Blue Jays) 9 to 1. Brandon Martinez got hit hard as he allowed 7 hits and 4 runs over 4.1 frames, then Ralston Cash also had some trouble on the mound as he gave up 3 more runs while recording just 5 outs. At the plate Alex Santana's double was the only extra base hit for Great Lakes, although Webster Rivas went 3 for 4 and Joey Curletta had a couple of singles.
DSL – The Dominican Dodgers continued the trend of slow offensive night as they lost to the Indians 6 to 1. Luis Subero doubled and Shakir Albert went 2 for 4, but that was it for the hitting highlights. On the mound starter Osiris Ramirez took the loss after allowing 4 runs over 3 innings. Dennis Santana was the only solid pitcher out of the bullpen as he tossed two hitless innings.
