Hanley Ramirez also left the game after two innings, with left calf tightness.

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers set a season-high with a six-run second inning on Saturday against the Cardinals, but the frame proved to be costly, with two infielders leaving the game. Justin Turner and Hanley Ramirez both left the game.

Turner pulled up running into second base on an RBI double that gave the Dodgers a 2-0 lead. The team announced Turner left with a left hamstring strain, and manager Don Mattingly said after the game Turner would likely be placed on the disabled list.

Carlos Triunfel was slated to start at second base for Triple-A Albuquerque in their game Saturday night against Reno, but was a late scratch.

Turner, who started at third base on Saturday, is hitting .400 with 11 RBI in 62 plate appearances in June, and over his last 36 games is hitting .378/.426/.561. It isn't the first leg injury dealt with recently by Turner, who was limited to three pinch-hitting appearances in a six-game stretch with left calf tightness.

As the Dodgers continued to score in the inning, including a walk and a run scored by Ramirez, team director of medical services Stan Conte was talking with Ramirez in the dugout as the shortstop was dealing with left calf tightness, per David Vassegh of Dodger Talk.

Ramirez, who started on Saturday for the first time in five days, went 1-for-1 with a walk in his brief two-inning outing.

Miguel Rojas pinch ran for Turner and stayed in the game to play shortstop. Juan Uribe entered the game in the top of the third inning for Ramirez, playing third base.
