Dodgers vs. Indians scheduled starting pitchers

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

The Dodgers and Indians last played in 2008 at Dodger Stadium.

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers welcome the Indians to town for three games to finish off their seven-game homestand, the first time these two teams have played in six seasons. The Dodgers and Indians have met only twice previously in interleague play, in 2003 in Cleveland and 2008 in Los Angeles.

The Dodgers are 7-4 in interleague games this season, including 2-3 at Dodger Stadium. Here is a look at the pitching matchups for the three-game series.

Monday, 7:10 p.m. PT (SportsNet LA)

Dan Haren ends a forgettable June that has seen him allow eight home runs with only 14 strikeouts. Now the number that seems most looming with Haren is 83⅔, the number of innings he needs to reach 180 innings and have his $10 million club option for 2015 become a player option. Corey Kluber is sixth in the American League with 122 strikeouts, seventh in strikeout-to-walk ratio (4.36) and 14th in innings per start (6.51), averaging more innings per start than any other Dodger but Clayton Kershaw.

Tuesday, 7:10 p.m. PT (SportsNet LA)

Josh Beckett has two straight scoreless starts, three scoreless starts in his last four and four scoreless starts in his last seven. He has allowed eight runs in those last seven starts, with 42 strikeouts and 11 walks during that span. Justin Masterson has a 6.05 ERA in his last eight starts, including four starts of 4⅓ or fewer innings.

Wednesday, 12:10 p.m. PT (SportsNet LA)

Hyun-jin Ryu has 12 regular season losses in his career, including on Friday against St. Louis. In his next regular season start following his own loss (not counting his loss in his final regular season start of 2013), Ryu is 7-2 with a 2.08 ERA, with 57 strikeouts and 15 walks in 65 innings. Trevor Bauer, who has 52 strikeouts in 53⅓ innings this season, makes his first start in Los Angeles since getting drafted third overall in 2011 out of UCLA.

Wednesday's homestand finale is one of just two weekday day games at Dodger Stadium the rest of the season.
