Double-A Tulsa
The Drillers finished their first half with a two-game winning streak with their 4-3 win over the Cardinals. One of the reasons to look forward to the second half is Jose De Leon who was the winning pitcher and also drove in two runs.
De Leon will be part of an exciting rotation in the second half. On Monday night, De Leon made a season high 101 pitches in 6 IP. De Leon gave up three runs, eight hits and three walks while striking out four.
The Drillers bullpen pitched three shutout innings to secure the win. Jeremy Horst got his sixth save.

The Raptors used eight pitchers in their 11-inning 4-3 loss to the Chukars (Royals). Roberth Fernandez started and pitched four innings and gave up two runs, four hits, three walks and five strikeouts.
Matthew Beaty went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI. Willie Calhoun doubled and scored a run.
AZL Dodgers
The Dodgers had just two hits in their 2-0 loss to the Padres. The Dodgers also walked twice and were struck out 13 times.
2015 40th round draft pick Isaac Anderson pitched a scoreless inning.
DSL Dodgers
The Dodgers defeated the Reds 4-1 with the key hit by Keibert Ruiz, a 16-year old catcher from Venezuela. Ruiz was signed in 2014. Though Ruiz is only hitting .222, Ruiz hit his first home run of the season in the seventh that broke a 1-1 tie.
Ruiz, who will turn 17 in July, is one of the youngest catching prospects in the system and he won't likely be playing in the U.S. for another year or two, Ruiz is certainly one to watch for in the future
