Dodgers' 2009 team stats updated on B-Ref
Because Dodgers stadium played as a severe pitcher's park for the past two seasons(multi-year batting: 95, pitching: 94), and one year (batting: 95, pitching:93). The batters OPS+ jumped several points, and the pitchers' ERA+ dropped a few points down after adjustment.
Among season position starters(remember, Manny missed 50 games), is Andre Ethier with a 132 OPS+. Clayton Kershaw leads starting pitchers with a 141 ERA+, and Ronald Belisario led the relievers with a 194 ERA+.

Could the Dodgers Make a Run at Brandon Phillips?
An intriguing possibility, considering we're unlikely to retain Hudson and Phillips is an upgrade over Belliard (since I doubt he repeats last September over a full year). We have a SS (DeJesus) and a catcher (May) that fit the Reds' needs.

Dodgers catcher-turned-RHP Kenley Jansen just DOMINATED with a mid-90s FB and a pretty nice CB

Cuban 'interested, but not on a mission'
I think somebody posted this as a comment on a fanpost, but I figured I'd throw up the link.
"For the right deal, I'm always interested, but I'm not on a mission," Cuban said Tuesday. "I'll make an inquiry like I have in the other deals, then we'll see what happens. But, again, it's got to be the right deal. It's not like the Cubs situation."

"I would love to [return to the Dodgers," he said. "I’m not sure if that’s a mutual feeling. They have their goals for the future. I don’t know what their plans are."
Ideally, Wolf said he’d like to sign a long-term deal. Randy Wolf, at a charity golf tournament in Santa Clarita that raises funds for ALS research. Linked via Diamond Leung's blog.

Frank McCourt has declared himself the sole owner of the Dodgers, pointing to a 2004 document his wife allegedly signed that grants him total control over the club. Jamie McCourt insists she didn’t know what she was signing, and has, additionally, requested $487,634 in monthly spousal support. Included in that sum is money for travel on private jets, eight full-time housekeepers, designer clothing, money for hair and makeup, and dinners at exclusive L.A. restaurants.
"Unless she’s had a lobotomy since moving to L.A., I don’t believe she didn’t know what she was signing,’’ says a prominent Boston attorney who dealt with the McCourts many times. "Of the two, Jamie was always in charge, as far as I was concerned. She was drafting the documents, dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s.’’
