those big boxes
make that table hard to read

by fanerman on Nov 19, 2007 4:10 PM PST   0 recs

hmm
maybe it's a Firefox thing

by fanerman on Nov 19, 2007 4:11 PM PST to parent up   0 recs

FireFox
is the problem. I had no problem with Explorer, but with Firefox I see what your talking about.

by ToyCannon on Nov 19, 2007 9:03 PM PST to parent up   0 recs

I took out
the cellspacing, border, and padding and so it should work via any browser.

by ToyCannon on Nov 20, 2007 7:38 AM PST to parent up   0 recs

Firefox is not the problem.
Firefox uses standard, certified html.  If something is displaying properly on an MS product and improperly on Firefox, then it is because the html code is non-standard.

MISTAKE!
Not only was this post hard to read with Firefox, but it made me delusional for a sec. Pierre didn't hit a home run in 2007! I doubt he even hit one in batting practice.

by Chillin on Nov 20, 2007 1:08 AM PST to parent up   0 recs

Remember
these aren't the actual stats. These are the translated stats per Baseball Prospectus. It is strange to see someone with no home runs all of the sudden have one, but it is not a mistake. Other then VORP and WinShares no data entry was involved with these tables.

nice tables
Now that I can see everything, there's a lot of good information.  A few things jump out at me: You can't be sure any of the free agents will do better than Juan next year.  While Pierre might do better to hit more ground balls, he isn't that far from his norm.  Mike Cameron rules.
