Dodgers Acquire Bad Man

Gary Bennett will take the title of most useless player on the Dodgers, starting once every three weeks behind Russell Martin, while simultaneously not allowing the Dodgers to claim they don't have any players that were named in the Mitchell Report. I wonder how many people will now quit following the Dodgers in disgust. Salary has yet to be disclosed, but I'm going to assume it will be less than what Kuroda will make this year. I would like to see the Dodgers offer J.R. House a minor league contract in case Russell Martin gets fork-stabbed. House is replacing Jack Cust as my guy who really should be given a chance at some point, but hasn't for some reason. As a 27 year old catcher, House hit .298/.365/.463 with 59 strikeouts in 419 at bats at AAA Norfolk, the most pitcher friendly park in baseball. Considering our alternatives are a guy with a career line of .242/.303/.327, and someone named TBD, putting someone with the potential to actually contribute in Vegas for no cost seems like a good idea to me.
