Chin-Hui Tsao, who briefly pitched for the Dodgers in 2007, has joined the Taiwan Brother Elephants of the Chinese Professional Baseball League. Tsao's monthly salary is about $10,500, over six times less the major league minimum salary of $400,000 per year. Matt Kemp and his agent, former MLB pitcher (and Old Friend) Dave Stewart, are co-hosting a poker tournament tonight in Scottsdale, to benefit Autism research. Kemp, whose brother is autistic, will be joined by fellow Dodgers Manny Ramirez, James Loney, Chad Billingsley, Russell Martin, Orlando Hudson, and Casey Blake. Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson is among the many other special guests scheduled to attend.
