Hyun-jin Ryu enjoyed quite a first season in the United States. He helped solidify the Dodgers starting rotation, and was 14-8 with a 3.00 ERA in his 30 starts and finished fourth in the NL Rookie of the Year voting.
A.J. Ellis referred to Ryu at numerous times throughout the season as "the Clayton Kershaw of his country," and since Ryu has returned home to South Korea he has been a busy man. The latest is singing backup in a K-pop single for charity.
