Checking In On An Old Freind

During my research on the Matsuzaka post below, I came across Jim Tracy's former best freind, Jason Grabowski. Grabowski's career in Japan isn't going too well. In 2006, he had only 86 at bats and hit a meager .146/.296/.326. The isolated stats are solid, but he's going to need to work on that average. Thanks to his poor showing, he spent most of the year with the minor league Kobe Surpass.

The same Jason Grabowski also holds the major league record for pinch hit appearances in a season.
