It's time for the team to start the first game of the rest of the season, and they face the Arizona Diamondbacks, who are threatening to drive them into the cellar of the NL West. The two teams that I thought would fight it out down the stretch run sit at the back of the back at the half-way mark.
Of course, my reasoning was that they had the best chance to get better in the second half, so maybe there's still hope. One of them will get a little hope tonight. Let's see if Derek Lowe can bounce back.
