Dodgers (53-55) vs. Marlins (51-57) 4:35 PM

Derek Lowe (7-8, 4.29) vs. Anibal Sanchez (4-1, 4.46)
The Marlins have taught us thus far that if you want to make a successful young team, trade with the Mets and Cubs. Mike Jacobs is already out producing Carlos Delgado, and he'll make about 47 million dollars less by the time Delgado's contract runs out. Meanwhile, Ricky Nolasco is putting up league average numbers in exchange for one year of Juan Pierre. By using the strategy of "take advantage of the rubes", the Marlins have won two less games than the Dodgers for about 10 percent of the payroll.
Sanchez's won loss record hides his poor peripherals (4.5 K/9, 1.11 K/BB, .9 HR/9) so as long as Derek Lowe puts his 7.11 July ERA behind him, the Dodgers have a good chance to continue their win streak.
