I'm abandoning the luck stat that I introduced last week due to some flaws that I couldn't find a solution to, so this week we're back to plain old linear weights.

Russell Martin's line this week: .421/.518/.714. In the past year only two Dodgers, Matt Kemp and Rafael Furcal have produced over five runs above average. Russell Martin joined that club in a week where Mike Lieberthal didn't get an at bat. I do love Russ, but I'd like to see him get a day off once in a while.

For a week where the Dodgers went 2-4, there aren't any easy scapegoats offensively. The Dodgers were simply caught by general crapiness that infected everyone outside of Martin and Nomar. It happens.
