Farm Update

Just a quick update. Thomas Giles who was promoted from Low A to  AA  this week hit his 1st AA home run last night. While playing for the Loons in Low A he posted an 957 OPS, which was by far the highest on the team. Since he's about to turn 24 you can see why the Dodgers fast tracked him to AA as he was old for the GCL. He was drafted in the 8th round in 2006 so this is only his 2nd professional season and to be in AA after only 235 professional at bats is a good sign. He's been splitting his time equally in the outfield with 10 games each at all the outfield positions. When I get a scouting report on him I'll post it as this is the 1st time he's shown up on my radar.
