Yet another third base candidate goes down as Tony Abreu will start the season on the DL. I've already covered this enough to comment heavily on it, but Joe Crede is starting to look mighty tempting. At least Chin-Lung Hu should be happy with this, since it practically ensures him a spot in the opening day lineup at second.
