Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports that Esteban Loaiza has lost his spot in the rotation, and Hong-Chih Kuo will make the start for the Dodgers this Tuesday. This is how I wanted to look from the start, so I'm pretty happy about this, but you know, that whole sample size thing. What did Torre see that made him put E-Lo in the rotation to start the year, then pull him after one start. This small sample size thinking has already had some negative effect on the team with Ethier being a fixture in the lineup and Kemp sitting against most righties, so while it can occasionally lead to good things like this, it also means that Chan Ho is just inches from the rotation.
