Minor League Update 4/13/08

Vegas triumphs 3-1 by scoring two in the ninth. Pinango went 7 strong innings only to havy Myers blow the save and vulture the win. Nothing exciting about they won the game. A couple of errors and sac fly and viola 2 runs came across. Other then Tiffee and Lindsey no one is hitting. Tiffee who leads the PCL in hitting was forced to the bench for the Nomar rehab. Tiffee still found a way to make an impact by tying the score with a pinch hit sac fly in the 9th. Nomar meanwhile gave DeWitt or LaRoche little to worry about by going 0-4 and is now 0-7 against AAA pitching.

Suns lose 8-7 in 11 after blowing lead in 9th . Mario Alvarez continues to show he didn't belong on the 40 man roster with another sorry start. He was bailed out by an offense lead by Lucas May who doubled three times.

Inland Empire gets shut down 4-0 just like their parents. On Saturday Night both the Dodgers and 66ers lit up the offensive fireworks and then both of them saw their offense get doused.

Great Lakes win 1-0 behind the great pitching of Rondon. It was great to see Rondon bounce back after his last outing. He displayed the control he was famous for last year as he only walked one while striking out 5 in six innings. All the bats are frozen for Great Lakes and even Andrew Lambo has seen his average fall below .300 for the 1st time since he turned pro.
