Hiroki Kuroda will miss his next start due to tendonitis in his pitching shoulder. Starting in his place, predictably, will be Chan Ho Park who gets the job despite the fact that he also reported shoulder troubles one day before he got shelled in Detroit.
How exactly did a team that I thought had unbelievable pitching depth resort to starting Chan Ho Park and Eric Stults in Mid June? Probably when it started DFAing not-terrible starters, selling other depth to Japan, and not trusting people who actually have upside. That'd probably do it.
