Not only did Delwyn Young hit a home run today, but one of his chief competitors for a coveted bench spot on the 25-man roster, Doug Mientikiewicz, was hurt. Per Tony Jackson, "Eye Chart" hurt his quadriceps and is expected to miss at least a week. Personally, I think there is room for both Mientkiewicz and Young on the bench, but I realize that's unlikely.
