The Dodgers and White Sox, co-tenants of Camelback Ranch in Glendale, AZ, face off again today. The Dodgers are the home team today, as they were when these two teams faced off Sunday. The White Sox will be the home team in the two remaining tilts between the two teams -- March 8 and March 28.
Hiroki Kuroda starts for the Dodgers, and will be opposed -- at least for the first few innings -- by Jeff Marquez. Marquez is a 24-year old right-hander, obtained this offseason from the Yankees in the Nick Swisher deal, and was rated by Baseball America as the 20th best prospect in the White Sox organization Jack Egbert, who was not rated among the White Sox top 30 prospects. (Marquez is starting against the Cubs today in Vegas, as the White Sox have split their squad today.)
Per Tony Jackson, our switch-hitting middle-infielding tablesetters Rafael Furcal and Orlando Hudson will both be in the lineup today.
