Two days ago, the Dodgers were the darlings of baseball, riding an eight-game winning streak going into a game facing Russ Ortiz. Tonight, the club is reeling after losing two very winnable games in Houston.

Nonetheless, Tony Jackson speculates that, now that a 40-man roster spot can be created by placing Doug Mientkiewicz on the 60-day disabled list, Jeff Weaver will soon be called up.
