The last time the Dodgers played the Nationals, Manny Ramirez was suspended. Let's hope nothing like that happens over the next three days or so.
Matt Kemp has a 12-game hitting streak coming into tonight's game, but its one of those rare streaks when a player actually performs worse than his seasonal numbers. Kemp is hitting .300/.340/.480 during the streak, but was hitting .307/.365/.509 before the streak began.
According to the Dodgers' game notes, Kemp, who has 95 runs batted in this season, is vying to become the first Dodger ever with 25 home runs, 30 stolen bases, 100 RBI, and a .300 batting average.
