It turns out the Dodgers won't have a six-man rotation this week. From the Dodgers:
Clayton Kershaw will miss his next scheduled start, Friday in San Francisco , with a bruised right shoulder. He injured the shoulder during batting practice on Sunday, running into the outfield wall while trying to catch a fly ball.
Running into the wall shagging flies? Was Kershaw trying to emulate Pete Reiser or Darin Erstad? Maybe he should sit out when the Dodgers are taking batting practice for the remainder of the season. Or maybe the club should explain to Kershaw that its not important that he catch every fly ball that comes his way.
