This was the Dodger lineup on July 6, 1995 in Atlanta, against Greg Maddux at the peak of his powers:
- DeShields 2B
- Offerman SS
- Mondesi RF
- Piazza C
- Wallach 1B
- Kelly CF
- Hansen 3B
- Gwynn LF
- Candiotti P
Both Tim Wallach and Dave Hansen started that day, the last time they started in the same lineup as Dodgers. Both appear to be in the 2011 Dodger coaching lineup for 2011. Wallach appears a lock for the third base coaching job, and per Jon Paul Morosi of Fox Sports, Hansen joining the Dodgers as a hitting instructor is a "done deal." Jeff Pentland and Hansen will be hitting coaches, but, "It’s not clear whether Pentland or Hansen would be designated as the primary hitting coach."
Hansen is sixth all-time with 138 pinch hits, including a record seven pinch home runs in 2000. Hansen served as hitting coach for Double A Mobile in the Diamondbacks' system in 2007, then was Arizona's minor league hitting coordinator for the past three seasons.
Nothing has been announced yet by the Dodgers, as they are waiting until the full coaching staff is assembled. In other words, once Davey Lopes gets hired as first base coach, the other coaching assignments will become official.

In other news, Jon Miller and Joe Morgan are out at ESPN Sunday Night Baseball, with the great Dan Shulman and Orel Hershiser replacing them on the TV team, per Richard Sandomir of the New York Times.
