MiLB Dodger Recap 6/13 - Elisaul Pimentel continues to shine

AAA - Isotopes lose 6 - 2, Padilla goes five in his last rehab start before being activated next weekend. Xavier Paul slugged his eighth home run in only 114 at bats. Nice ratio.

AA – Chris Withrow picked up his 2nd victory but not because he pitched well. Withrow went five innings, walking five and giving up three runs. Kenley Jansen swooped in to pick up his third save with another perfect inning. Gordon and Russell got the day off.

High A - 66ers fall in extra innings 6 - 5, with Sartor taking the loss. Redding put up another uninspiring effort going five innings, giving up three runs while walking four. Alfredo Silverio tries to hit his way out of his early season funk picking up two more hits, including a double. Steve Caseres hit his fourth home run.

A - Elisaul Pimentel continues to excel, putting up another sterling start while collecting his fifth straight win in as many starts. He only went five innings this time, but they were five scoreless innings with only five baserunners (3 hits / 2 walks). Over his last five starts he has allowed only one earned run in 29 innings. Jerry Wise and Brian Hernandez hit home runs to pace the scoring. Jerry Sands had his first multiple hit game in the month of June as he picked up three hits. That is not to say he's been upproductive, he simply is being pitching around as his nine walks in the last ten games can attest.
