Dodgers 2011 Payroll Tops $113 Million

The Dodgers 2011 opening day payroll is a shade over $113 million, an increase of 21.3% over last year. This includes actual money paid out this year to the 25 players on the active roster, any players on the disabled list, and any "dead money," which are deferred payments or buyouts to players no longer here.

The Dodgers have $96,871,500 committed to the 25 players on their opening day roster and five on the disabled list. In addition, they have $16,327,596 in dead money, the bulk of that going to the three members of the White Sox Outfield Exchange Program®. Here are the 2011 salary commitments for the Dodgers:
