A few Dodgers links for your Sunday morning...
- Saturday's game recap from Ken Gurnick of MLB.com.
- Ted Lilly expects to make his next start Friday at Dodger Stadium, wrote Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times, but the Dodgers will wait and see how if Lilly improves over the next few days before making any decision.
- Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times delves into the world of baseball statistics and gathered opinions from some in the Dodgers organization. See if you can guess who expressed this opinion: "Runs scored are influenced by other hitters in the lineup, so they're not the most valuable measurement."
- Javy Guerra (@JavyGuerra54) tweeted about a half hour after the Dodgers lost on Saturday, "Sorry dodger nation. Things just didn't go my way. Ill be ready tomorrow ... that ones on me."
- Former Dodger Russell Martin started Saturday night at catcher for the Yankees, but then played the final two innings at second base, his first time ever playing the position as a professional. Martin is the second Yankee since 1919 to play both catcher and second base in the same game, joining Rick Cerone on May 20, 1990.
