Clayton Kershaw Makes Cactus League Debut Against Rangers

Clayton Kershaw makes his Cactus League debut on Friday, facing a nearly intact regular lineup of the two-time defending American League pennant winning Texas Rangers in Surprise, Arizona.

Fernando Nieve, Angel Guzman, Wil Ledezma, Ryan Tucker, and Scott Rice are also scheduled to pitch for the Dodgers. Ronald Belisario and Matt Chico also made the trip to Surprise, but are backups, is both are scheduled to pitch Saturday afternoon in Peoria against Seattle. Should Belisario or Chico need to pitch today, they won't pitch Saturday.

Martin Perez starts on the mound for the Rangers. Also scheduled to pitch for Texas are Neil Ramirez, Tanner Scheppers, Robbie Ross, Mike Adams, and Koji Uehara.
